Brooke Stroud Dance opened in 2010. We focus on the joy of dance as well as proper technique. Proper technique ensures the safety and well being of the dancer. We strive to keep our music clean and classes uplifting.
Our dance floor is a foam spring floor to provide cushion to prevent joint and repetitive injuries.
We have annual recitals. These recitals are optional and require an additional fee for each recital. $50 per dancer or $90 per family. Costumes are provided by the studio and remain the property of the studio. This saves our dancers the cost of purchasing a pricey costume which they will probably never wear again. Professional portraits, photos and videos are available for student purchase.
Brooke has been teaching dance since 1999. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management as well as a Minor in Dance from the University of Arizona. She trained with the Colorado Jazz Dance Company / Zetta Alderman from 2000-2005, and 2010. She's also trained with Susan Quinn, Michael Williams, Sam Watson, and Amy Ernst. Master classes taken include Ben Vereen, Sherry Zunker, Frank Chaves, Joe Tremaine, Pattie Obey, Bill Hastings, Chet Walker, Momix, Stacey Tookey, Alex Magno, Richard Havey, and Mia Michaels. She believes strongly in continuing her dance education and strengthening her skills as both a teacher and a dancer.
